I am Annika and I own and run the farmstead.
With the rural environment and with the sea in focus this location is simply fantastic for anyone wanting to rent a cottage just outside the historic town of Stenungsund. We offer weekly rentals during the summer, of both Otto's House and Gerda's Cottage, which are comfortable and nicely furnished. If you want to rent for a longer period you are welcome to rent from the beginning of September.
A perfect solution for those wanting to live close to nature and equally close to good communications. Elvis the cat and the horses have, however, moved away from the farmstead.
A little about the history of the place:
The history of Strandnorum Bergegård stems back to the mid 19th century. In 1907 a gentleman by the name of Otto Andersson bought the farmstead that is still called Otto's gård (Otto's farm) by the older generation. He farmed the land until his demise with the help of his housekeeper, Gerda. Hence the names of the buildings.
The farmstead has been in my ownership since 1995, and I have run the stables, as this has always been a big interest in my family. However in recent years we have realigned the business with focus on tourism and renting out.
